Let's face it. No matter how long you've been crocheting or how many stitches you happen to know there is bound to be that one stitch that you always return to again and again. You know, the one that never fails to help you churn out a beautiful final project, the one that leaves people wondering just what you did? THAT stitch.  The Blanket Stitch is one that fits the bill for me, and I will be honest and tell you there are few crochet stitches that are simpler. Using only single crochet stitches and double crochet stitches in each row means there's really no learning curve and you can sit down and watch your favorite movies or listen to your favorite podcast while making something beautiful.
